Current Market Status
The neighborhood has seen significant price increases over the past 4 years as it is known as one of the safest neighborhoods in Detroit. In fact, during the summer you will frequently see the Detroit Mounted Police riding through the neighborhood on their grand horses.

As Livernois (once known as Detroit’s Avenue of Fashion) continues to redevelop with the support of a $1.3 million dollar grant, the University District will certainly be one of the strongest neighborhoods in Detroit for growth moving forward.
